For 3D tech to really evolve and become main stream we have to lose the glasses. AirPlay and networking capabilities also garnered high praise from many purchasers.
Network Functions The 673 has a nice array of network functions. The top section which has a hi-gloss finish, is a fingerprint magnet and you may find yourself constantly cleaning and wiping it. The buttons are arranged and organized well. The dialogue level adjustment allows you to adjust the volume of the vocals which usually come from your center channel so that they are easier to hear since often times they can be drowned out with surround effects. The Yamaha 673 not only supports 4K pass through, but it also upscales images to 4K. Of the 65 customer reviews on Amazon for instance, only about 5 of them are related to hardware related issues.
The Yamaha 673 also incorporates what Yamaha calls Dialogue lift and level adjustment.
