The story truly doesn't unravel until the final 20 pages of the book, and when it does, it happens so fast, you can't believe what you have just read. But at least Morelli seems like a nicer person now. The writing is wonderful, down to earth and the irreverent dialogue is unrivaled. Stephanie Plum and Morelli's chemistry is sizzling, the criminal element was interesting and the secondary characters had more opportunity to interact with our main protagonist. There were a lot of cops and cop cars at the gas station, and an emergency rescue truck had backed itself up close to the office door.
The thing that bugged me the most was the whole damsel-in-distress thing. She's neurotic in a fun way -- sort of like I am. It seems a straight forward case to begin with, but Stephanie never expected cousin Kenny to be so crazy or to have to deal with the stuff he is caught up in. The plot is complicated enough to keep the reader engaged, and the action never lets up. It is true that Janet E. Product Description Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is packing a whole lot of attitude -- not to mention stun guns, defense sprays, and a.
Now Stephanie's back, armed with attitude -- not to mention stun guns, defense sprays, killer flashlights, and her trusty. I love the things she comes out with and I could happily quote half the book in this review. Or will Grandma end up right in the middle of the path of a lunatic? Everyone knows everyone and most of them are related in that big Italian family way. This one is all about her libido with Joe More Review 3 stars to book 2 in the Stephanie Plum mystery series, , by. I also love the men in the series, Ranger is still pretty much a complete mystery at this point but I know from later books how brilliant he is and I'm looking forward to unravelling him a bit more. I love the idea of the series as well, but for some reason I can't get into the stories.
Granny Mazur rocks --- Chase scene through the mall in purple heels. Granny Mazur rocks --- Chase scene through the mall in purple heels. This time, Stephanie is after Kenny Mancuso, a guy who just came out of the army and is suspiciously wealthy. The past week has been an extremely turbulent period of time for me. He's fresh out of the army, suspiciously wealthy, and he's just shot his best friend.
There is always a bit of mystery in these books and some hilarious interactions between Stephanie and Joe but the crime solving gallops on it's own, the reader is merely a spectator and Stephanie takes lead observing the crimes and then trying to find the guy with sheer luck when her sleuthing doesn't provide as fruitful as she wishes. However, after this book, I don't know if I'm going to continue on. Things go from bad I really enjoyed this book. Grandma Mazur is my favorite character, hands down! I finished the second book of the Stephanie Plum series in about 3 days. An hour later I was on my way.
Grandma is fun but can be a pain in the rear! Not one to walk away from a case Stephanie becomes determined to track Kenny down but when her investigations lead her to a funeral parlour with a missing batch of caskets and then various body parts start going missing things get much more complicated. Grandma Mazur's adventures in the funeral home are quite humorous, although the mortuary theme was a little too morbid and played too great a part. Anyways, please consider purchasing this item. And the interactions with Joe were pure perfection. Just like his previous car. Since I'm going back to complete reviews on all the books I've read, and there are over 20 in this series, it would be too boring to do a normal review.
The car pulled hard to the left. I really wanted to like it. The tension between her and Morelli is mounting, climaxing in one laugh out loud scenario that had me near tears. Two for the Dough is irresistible fun and powerful suspense entertainment from an acclaimed author who is already a national star. After you have read the first one, you know what you are going to get with the rest.
Otherwise, a decent read with a decent mystery to unravel. Well campers, as millions of readers will attest: they are clever, fun and addictive. Turns out Kenny is frickin bat-shit crazy. I just have to finish this review with my favourite part of the entire book. I responded with some derisive Italian hand gestures and commented on his mother. Well, Roger would be me! I was wetting myself with laughter. Just like his previous car.
She blunders her way through things, annoying the hell out of enough people to make sure she is targeted not exactly on purpose. I'm trying to make you look good here! You're all tied up in knots. Grandma Mazur really steps on stage with her need to pay her respects to the dead. I read this type of book when I need a quick, easy read in between meatier reads. Skipping her feet to help her granddaugh I love this book! In her own words: Ranger and I had a sort of loose partnership. Often after reading the newest installment, I will go back and reread a previous book.
